2 - Best of 2020
Even in the worst year many of us can remember, the best can still rise to the surface.
Takeaways:
1) Something beautiful can come from sh*t. What is your "lotus flower" of 2020?
2) In the worst year, there are still good things.
3) You can have a little bit of all of it. Slow down. Restabilize. Bring in more family time.

My lotus flower is my growing relationship with my husband through the death of his mom. Also being at home with my kids but also making more time for me! Being an active good example for my kiddos!

Love listening to these ladies!

I started a morning routine which includes journaling, reading a daily meditation, writing down a gratitude, an “I am...” statement and sending a morning motivational or silly meme to a number of friends. This helps me start my day on a positive note plus I have been wanting to journal for years!

My mother passed away in 2020. Not covid, she had been fighting a uterine cancer for several years. I feel fortunate that when she needed family most, we were able to be with her. Covid sent most of us to work from “home”. Home can be anywhere. My siblings and I took it in turns to be with my mother 24/7 and I was able to be a part of her passing on her terms. That is my silver lining. My lotus flower is the deeper relationship developed with my siblings as we navigated my mothers last months.
